Hey everyone 😀
Anyone with ADHD (or just a bad memory) will know that putting things down and then spending minutes – or sometimes hours 😣 – trying to find them again can be a recurring action that takes place daily! This is why I have looked at and reviewed a selection of key-finders that could just be the device to help you 👍
The first 4 reviews look at Bluetooth set-up’s which would require a smartphone, the last 2 use remote frequency so are perfect for elderly / less technical people to help them locate items lost around the house.
Prices change fairly frequently on Amazon, so you can pick up a real bargain, also look out for vouchers you can apply, anything from 5%+ (I just got £40 off an air purifier worth £90 with a voucher! – but they are very random 😀)
You can check out a full range of Key/Item Finders here, or on my reviews below 👍

Apple Air Tag, Bluetooth Item Finder and Key Finder
Review: Available from the Apple Store, these Item/Key finders are available for £29 each, or £86 for a set of 4 (£21.50 each).
The AirTag is extremely easy to set up – one tap – with your iPhone / iPad and comes with a built-in speaker which helps you fond your keys/items, or you can ask Siri for help!
Your AirTag links in to the ‘FindMyNetwork’ giving it Unlimited Range, so you can take advantage of other Apple phones on the system if you lose an item, just put it into ‘Lost Mode’ and if it is near someone else’s phone, then you will receive a notification.
The battery should last over 1 year and is replaceable so this can be used for years to come!

Tile Mate (2022) Bluetooth Item Finder
Review: Tile Mate offer this new 2022 version of their Bluetooth Item Finder for £19.99 each. The lithium battery is expected to last around 3 years but cannot be replaced so the Tile Mate only lasts as long as the battery.
Working up to 76m bluetooth range, the Tile Mate is waterproof (IP67) and works 2-ways – find your item using the app on your phone, or double-tap the button in your Tile Mate to make your phone ring, even when on silent!
You can add your details to your Tile so if you lose it, anyone who finds it can scan the QR code to see how to contact you.
Voice compatible with iOS and Android, Tile also works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri!

CHIPOLO ONE (2021) – 1 Pack – Key Finder
Review: The Chipolo One offers not only a coin shaped device but also a credit card size alarm perfect for your wallet. The 2020 version is slightly cheaper at £22 each (iOS and Android compatible), but the new 2021 ‘Chipolo One Spot’ priced at £28 can also link to Apple’s FindMyNetwork system, so has Unlimited range when put into ‘Lost Mode’ taking advantage of all the other Apple customers around the world!
With a loud ring (up to 120dB), connection is available at 60m and the finder is waterproof (IPX5 rating)
Extra Features include an alert if you leave your item behind, set-up voice commands on Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Siri, also you can add a widget to your home screen and use Chipolo as a remote selfie button for your phone’s camera.

4 JTD Wireless Remote Key Finders, Tracker/Wireless
Review: This tracker set comes with 4 remote trackers and a remote. Using radio frequency, this remote can connect with the trackers up to 30m away, penetrating though walls, floors, cushions etc, it also has a built-in LED flashlight!
You do not need a Smartphone to use this system, it is perfect for items around the house and for anyone who is not very tech-savvy!
At only £20.99, (£5.25 each) this is a cheaper option than the bluetooth devices but is limited as you must have the remote with you to find a tracker, rather than using an app on your phone. Saying this, it would be perfect if you lose things around the house all the time!

These finders work up to 100ft (30m) and have a beep at around 70-80dB.
Attach these to your keys, phone, wallet/purse etc either with the key rings enclosed or stick them using double sided tape.
With a battery life of 6-12 months, you can replace these whenever needed to prolong the life of your devices.
